About

Making African financial information more accessible, comparable, and useful

Africa5000 is a pan-African data, analysis, and financial communication platform focused on the continent's 5,000 largest companies.

Our ambition is to turn information that is currently scattered, heterogeneous, and hard to use into a structured, reliable resource directly usable by companies, investors, analysts, institutions, and media.

Africa5000 aggregates annual reports, financial publications, investor presentations, ESG documents, and other public information produced by major African companies. With artificial intelligence, the platform turns these documents into structured data, summaries, comparisons, sector analysis, and decision insights.

Our mission

Facilitate access to high-quality African financial information in order to strengthen:

  • corporate transparency;
  • the quality of financial communication;
  • performance comparability;
  • investor confidence;
  • the attractiveness of African capital markets.

What we are building

Africa5000 is built on five complementary components:

A pan-African database

Structured company profiles by company, country, region, sector, and year, bringing together financial documents and key performance indicators.

A POC focused on Morocco

Structured profiles for Moroccan companies, by sector and year, bringing together financial documents and key performance indicators.

An AI-augmented analysis platform

Search, synthesis, comparison, and question-answering tools to quickly explore African companies and markets.

A financial communication studio

Services and tools to produce financial press releases, digital reports, investor presentations, strategic narratives, videos, infographics, and multilingual content.

An observatory of major African companies

Sector studies, regional analysis, rankings, and publications designed to better understand the continent's economic dynamics.

Our vision

We want to contribute to the emergence of an African standard for data and financial communication, adapted to the continent's languages, regulations, and economic realities.

Africa5000 is a project led by 8Mind, a company specialized in artificial intelligence, digital transformation, and strategic support for organizations.
